Casablanca

A home designed to enhance the sense of spaciousness and create a living environment that encourages family life. We envisioned open spaces where the connection between the living room, dining area, and kitchen is direct yet subtle, defined by openings that delineate each zone without becoming barriers, allowing light and interaction to flow naturally.

The kitchen, integrated with the living area, maintains fluidity and closeness, incorporating a delicate partition that provides privacy when desired. Adjacent to it, the office connects harmoniously, lined with green wallpaper that evokes vegetation—a subtle allegory of freshness and vitality within the home.

The aesthetic blends classical references reinterpreted in a contemporary key: cornices and fluted moldings with clean lines add elegance without overwhelming. Every detail is designed to balance functionality and design, creating a space where living feels natural and enjoyable. Every corner is thoughtfully utilized to incorporate singular elements, such as wooden bookshelves that become small focal points of character and warmth, bringing harmony and personality to each area.

A particularly unique feature is the door giving access to the guest bathroom, brought from its previous home in Morocco, conceived as an element rich in history and character, establishing a connection between its past and the present of the home.

María de Leste

Interior architect

I am an interior architect specializing in the creation of spaces where wellbeing, functionality, and beauty coexist effortlessly.

My work is rooted in a deep understanding of each individual, each need, and each way of inhabiting a space. My sensitivity to interiors comes from a family heritage: a lineage of women with a remarkable aesthetic sensibility who awakened, from an early age, my eye for beauty and my passion for design.

From this emerges a distinctive vision — serene, timeless, and deeply personal — capable of interpreting a variety of styles, whether classical, contemporary, or countryside-inspired, and transforming them into harmonious, elegant interiors with a strong sense of identity, always in dialogue with the essence of those who live within them.

Paloma Ibarra

Architect

I am Paloma Ibarra, architect and founder of Estudio Ibarra.

Since childhood, I have always associated home with happiness.

I hold vivid memories of every corner of the house where I grew up, the home where I spent my summers, and the houses of family and friends…

As I grew older, I found myself collecting images of spaces that deeply moved me.

They all shared one common quality: they inspired happiness.

Estudio Ibarra bears my family name, and that is precisely what I want our atelier to become for you: a family whose greatest purpose is to help you create a home in which to truly feel happy.
